ANDREW G. BENE

Andy Bene is Managing Director at MB Real Estate, which provides a complete range of corporate finance and financial advisory services, and is a recognized leader in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and conversion and demutualization transactions for financial institutions of all sizes.  Andy sources and places both debt and equity for his real estate clients.  He has developed and maintains strong connections to the Wall Street community.

Andy is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York.  He is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and a Counselor of Real Estate.  He holds both the Series 7 and Series 63 Securities licenses.  He has earned graduate degrees from the Graduate School of Banking of Brown University and the Graduate Real Estate Institute of New York University.

Andy previously served as Managing Director and Group Leader for the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, as Managing Director at Marshall & Stevens, as Partner and Group Leader of the Capital Markets division of Pricewaterhouse Coopers Securities, and prior to that he served as Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets at Landauer Real Estate Counselors.  He has successfully closed over $5,000,000,000 in debt, equity, bridge, permanent and mezzanine financing transactions.

Andy's real estate career spans 30 years.  He has experience in sales, finance, consulting, project management, workout and turnaround situations for real estate assignments throughout the world.
